Roots

Roots: Students are learning 5 root words each week to assist in learning vocabulary. Please be prepared to receive words on Wednesdays, then take the quiz on the following Tuesday. Every three weeks will consist of a cummulative exam for the past three weeks, as well as a few words from weeks 1 on. Expect a quiz or exam each week. If we do not have a Tuesday, we will take the quiz on Wednesday. There are no retakes, as there are only 5 words per week. Study and you will do well.

We are spending some time teaching the vocabulary used in Smarter Balanced testing, as well as in Common Core, so students may answer the questions, knowing what each question is asking.
