Students have a roots test every Tuesday (Roots 1-21). Study Roots 22 each night this week, being sure they are written in the composition notebook.

We will continue testing all 50 states and 10 Amendments each week, so please encourage your student to study these each night after their Roots.

We will continue our studies with the U.S. Constitution.

We continue our in class novel, Nothing But The Truth and will discuss the Constitution and truth.

We are working on PRO Essay in Debates and most students have notes and analyses, as well as their essay to work on and complete. Students can find all information on my webpage under Debates, as well as the student packets to refer to.

PRO Debates and most students have notes and analyses to work on (they should have 16+ notes and analyses by Thursday-DUE Friday). Students can find all information on my webpage under Debates, as well as the student packets to refer to.

We begin our in class novel, Nothing But The Truth and will discuss the Constitution and truth.
We are also beginning Debates and most students have notes to work on at home beginning Tuesday. All information is available on my webpage under Debates.

¨ Study Roots 20 each night this week, being sure they are written in the composition notebook. We will continue testing all 50 states each Friday now, so please encourage your student to study these each night after their Roots.

¨ We will continue our studies with the U.S. Constitution.

¨ Students will be tested on the 10 Amendments most Fridays.

¨ We will work on Chapter 14 and 15, working into Westward Expansion in our History workbook.

¨ We are working on MiniDebates and most students have notes and/or their speech to work on at home. All information is available on my webpage under Debates.

¨ We begin our actual Debate project next week.

This is just the overview of what we are covering each week. Students and parents are encouraged to ask questions if class is missed or if there needs to be clarification on anything.

Expectation are that all make-up work is completed in a timely fashion in order to receive credit (within a day, or quizzes within the week) in order to earn above a zero. Communication is key; I am reasonable.
