Roots test every Tuesday. Study Roots 1-6, then Roots 7 each night this week, writing down the root word, definition, 3 example words, and one sentence using one example word and context clues! We will write our in-class essay this week, and have a Blood on the River Final. They will receive a study guide next week. We will also test all 50 states this week, so please encourage your student to study these each night after their Roots.

Roots test every Tuesday. Study Roots 6, then 1-6 each night this week! Roots composition books are due this Friday. Be sure ALL Roots 4-6 are complete with definitions, 3 example words, and a sentence for each. We will complete our in-class novel, filling in character traits and quotes, then beginning our next essay, in class. We will also continue testing the 13 colonies (East Coast states), then progress to all 50 states next week. We will test the 13 colonies this Friday, 10/24, before proceeding to all 50, so please encourage your student to study these each night after their Roots.

We will test the 13 colonies Friday, 10/17 and 10/24, before proceeding to all 50, so please encourage your student to study these each night after their Roots.
