We have wrapped up the American Revolution. Students have studied primary and secondary sources, taken notes, watch video clips, and have discussions in order to discover what happened during this time period, giving their thoughts and claims on how they would have felt in this era. We will culminate these events into a narrative this week. They will complete this process and turn it in on Wednesday.
Students have Roots 5 quiz tomorrow, and they should study them a few minutes each evening. They will have Roots 6 next week, so should study those words after Tuesday’s quiz. They should be able to show you their notecards to study from, and if not, they should make them. They were given classtime to do this. Roots quizzes and exams will take place each Tuesday. They will have Roots 7 as they go into break with a quiz when they return. However, they will not have DL on the 23rd and 24th.
Students continue to study the U.S. map and will be tested each Thursday, with a final on November 20th. Their quizzes have been sent to their Camas email, so they may see what they missed and what to study more. Any student with 100% will no longer be required to take the quizzes.
Book Projects are due November 23 & 24. Students will present their project. Please make sure they are ready to go. The project list is on my webpage under assignments.
